(Ottawa April 19, 2013) -- Capt. Rick Allen, Senior Director Flight Operations at Air Canada (TSE:AC:B) today confirmed job interviews will be given to all 9 finalist in the Webster Memorial Trophy Competition.
"This new, additional support from Air Canada is a tremendous boost to Canada's top amateur pilot contest and a great incentive for our young competitors," says Amy Foy, National Administrator.
Foy notes the offering of a job interview does not guarantee a position with the company.
Established in 1932, this year's Webster Memorial Trophy Competition will take place in Winnipeg on Aug. 19-24. Many amateur pilots have already entered the competition. The entry deadline is June 1.
