Mayors start to fight Via Rail cuts

CTV London: Our mayors are out to keep Via Rail on track

Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley takes questions after meeting Via Rail CEO Marc Laliberté in London on Aug. 30. Via's boss should take a look at this CTV YouTube clip and then consider the basic rules of politics. He broke two of them. Don't get mayors upset and, if you're selling trains, don't ride in limos.

The campaign to fight the Via Rail cuts and improve passenger service will heat  up next week with a resolution from Ontario mayors and with Transport Action's first National Dream Renewed Town Hall in Sarnia Ontario on Saturday, Sept.  8.
