From the Hamilton Golf and Country Club, J. Goss associate John Gallaugher reports: "Had the opportunity to walk the front 9 with Ernie Els during his practice round yesterday. He was very humble after winning the British Open, considered by many to be the highest honour in golf. There was good camaraderie among the rest of players as they all congratulated Ernie on his Open win."

Gallaugher filed some exceptional photos including a shot of Jim Furyk greeting the Big Easy.

John Gallaugher is also a fine graphic artist in the school of Allan Fleming and a grad from Sheridan College and OCAD where he was awarded its highest honour - the Leo Burnett Scholarship.
